The 7 Sacraments celebrated in the Catholic Church are Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance and Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.

Baptism

Baptisms are celebrated the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month.

Baptism Class is required for first time parents.

  • Child’s name
  • Father’s name

  • Mother’s maiden name

Reconciliation

Reconciliation Opportunities are available Thursday Evenings 5:00-5:20 pm, Saturday Afternoons 3:30-4:30 pm, and First Fridays 7:30-7:50 am.


First Reconciliation occurs in 2nd Grade, with instruction and preparation through our Religious Education Program.

Confirmation occurs in 10th Grade, with two-year preparation through our Religious Education Program.

There is a 6 month preparation period.


No Weddings are held during the Lenten Season.

Who can receive this Sacrament?

 

Contrary to belief, it is not just for those who are at the point of death. It is meant for anyone who is suffering a serious illness: physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. 



The Sacrament may be received at any time during a person's illness, especially before surgery or treatment.
