Come see one of the largest hot air balloons in Minnesota at the Barn Dance 2010.  The balloon will be inflated in a static position for display and you can view and touch the basket up close and personal.

Obtain a raffle ticket for a chance to take a ride.  Ten (10) winners will be drawn on-site at 10pm on 11 September 2010 and you must be present to win. Raffle tickets are $50 each.

Weather permitting; the ride will occur at about 6:00am (sunrise).  The hot air balloon can accommodate up to 2200 lbs which is about 10 people.  Instructions for the ride will be given during immediately following the raffle drawing so you must be present to win.  There will be a 15 minute wait for those raffle ticket winners that do not respond immediately during the live raffle.

The 10 raffle winners are expected to fly in the morning.  If they miss the arrival check in time, they will forfeit their certificates (so wake up when your alarm goes off!).  If the morning is not flyable, the winners of the raffle will be required to reschedule at their convenience and fly from Lakeland, Minnesota (about 3 blocks off the St. Croix River).

In case neither of the flight times work due to weather, winners can only then maintain their certificates for one year from the day of the event (certificates expire on September 11, 2011). 

Other requirements:

·         Winners agree to release St. Mary’s Church and all its benefactors from any liability.

·         Winners will be required to sign liability agreements

·         Must be present to win

·         Drawing Sept 11, 2010 at 10pm

·         10 Riders will be selected.  The odds of winning are dependent on the number of tickets sold (but the odds are great considering there will be 10 winners!)

·         Restrictions Apply

·         Flight scheduled at Sept 12, 2010 at 6:00 am. (weather permitting)

·         Must be 18 years or older
